Born an raised in Edmonton, Canada, Emily had to travel as far as India to meet the love of her life -Tobi - whom she eventually followed to his home of Eastern Styria.


In the StrandGut she now takes care of her guests as well as of the cake vitrine, which she fills with her delicious - and partly vegan - creations.

Tobi was born an raised in the area of Graz.

After finishing his apprenticeship in a famous Restaurant in Graz, Tobi set out to see the (culinary) World. 


In Spain, Germany, Thailand and India (only to name a few) he gathered the inspirations, which he now transforms to a modern cuisine of regional products.
